I’m in love with this book and with Sylvia.

So, this is my mother. My stepfather broke her heart yesterday, she actually thinks she’s the most annoying, ugly and unlucky person on earth. I live with my father (whose heart is also broken by someone) and I was planning to spend new year’s eve with him. We were going to a friend’s house, but then my mom told me about my stepfather thing and I came from the city I live to spend new year’s eve with her, cause she was going to be all alone. Then I make her take these photos with me, so I could convince her how beautiful she is, cause she is gorgeous. The most beautiful person ever, and I love her very much.

It was suppose to look like a pirate, but it’s okay. And, yes, this is how I’m spending new years eve.

Why can’t I try on different lives, like dresses, to see which one fits best?

Ao seu lado não tem essa de filtrar coisas pra dizer por timidez ou não fazer algo por medo do que possa pensar. Se tem alguém com a qual eu sou exatamente eu mesma é com você.
É in-crí-vel o quanto você me conhece bem; mostrando, quase sempre, que me conhece mais do que eu a mim mesma. E é incrível como sabe quando eu preciso de você, mesmo de longe. É incrível também como a distância não mudou em nada nossa amizade…Talvez tenha até fortalecido.
Não há finais de semana melhores além dos que eu passo ao seu lado, seja aqueles ao qual passamos o tempo inteiro deitadas ou aqueles que rodamos a cidade inteira. Qualquer momento ao seu lado é incrível, porque você me diverte como ninguém e me entende como ninguém; é uma combinação perfeita.
Você é, literalmente, TUDO pra mim. Irmã, mãe, amiga, tudo que assemelhe-se a amor, carinho, cumplicidade…
E se tem alguém nesse mundo que eu posso dizer que eu não sei viver sem: é você! Até porque só vivi 5 anos da minha vida sem você…O resto dos 11 estivemos juntas. E espero que esses 11 anos não sejam nem 1% do que ainda há por vir.
Você é minha melhor amiga, minha caixinha de segredos, minha confidente. Meu porto seguro.
E se tem um “eu te amo” sincero que sai da minha boca, esse “eu te amo” é pra você!
